Exploring grams and kilograms

After comparing different objects and how much they weigh, the students chose an object and learned how to measure their object in grams.

Earth hour presentation

Our class learned about energy conservation. We learned how LED lightbulbs are better at saving energy and helping our earth!

Earth Hour

Earth hour was on Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 to 9:30pm. During this hour all households and businesses are encouraged to turn off all non-essential lights. Our students used iPads to express their commitment to the earth.

Medieval Times

Today we learned about becoming a knight. At seven years old a boy born into a noble family would move to another castle and become a Page. At 14 years old he became a Squire. Squires practice how to battle with the help of a Knight. By 21 years old, Worthy Squires were knighted. The Lord or King picked up the young man's sword, tapped his right shoulder three times with the blade of the sword and dubbed him the title of "Sir".
